| The Gyrocenter data centre is a relatively young, but because of that, a modern data centre. Among other things it is used by Tele2 to broadcast television through the internet., so the Gyrocenter meets the highest telecom demands, which are many times higher than those of a standard data centre. The Gyrocenter is also ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, which implies that everything has to be conducted in accordance with a safety protocol. |

The Databarn data centre has been existing for many years; in 2006 it was taken over and became vacant. Since TrancePitt Services was looking for space in the proximity of the Gyrocenter, the Databarn has become our second location. The Databarn is a very modern, well-organised data centre, which even might be called state-of-the-art. |

| The Gyrocenter is watched 24 hours a day by means of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television), which registers anything and anyone in and around the data centre. In order to reach the TrancePitt Services Cage, you will get a PAC key card (Proximity Access Card). With this card you can solely enter the data centre and the TrancePitt Services Cage; all the other doors cannot be opened with the key card. In case of an emergency engineers and guards are present 24 hours a day to solve the problems. |

| The Gyrocenter has been equipped with two UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, which supply the data centre with power in case of a power cut: So, first of all, the data centre is supplied with emergency power by batteries. In the meantime the three diesel generators will have been activated, which can supply the Gyrocenter with power for 48 hours. |

The Databarn has been equipped with a complete wall of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, which in the event of a power cut, will supply the data centre with power for 45 minutes. In the meantime the three diesel generators will have been activated, which can supply the Gyrocenter with power for 48 hours. The data centre also contains a load bank which can test the UPS at any moment without risking loss of electric power. |

| The air conditioning, better called climate control, keeps the temperature of the data floor at a constant temperature of 21° C, with a discrepancy of 2° C. Apart from this, the air humidity is regulated: it is kept between 50% and 10%. Climate control contributes to a longer life of your and our equipment. |

| The Gyrocenter has been equipped with an aspiration smoke detection system which has been linked to VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus). Even more important is the MIST fire extinguishing system: In case of a fire the data floor is filled with the oxygen replacing Argon gas: the fire will be extinguished due to lack of oxygen. The equipment will not be affected by the Argon gas. |

The Databarn has been equipped with an aspiration smoke detection system which has been linked to VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus). In case of a smoke detection the fire will not be extinguished automatically, but in the entire building manual CO2 extinguishers are present: within ten minutes guards will be there to extinguish the fire. |
